Courses Required

Appropriate course selection is critical to presenting a competitive application. Therefore, students must complete the math, natural science and English composition courses required by their prospective college, earning a B or better in each course.  You may wish to review the Bulletin of Information (6.7 mb pdf) for a comprehensive review of sample curricula.

Please note that online and distance-learning courses are not transferable.

Admission to the college to which you apply is contingent upon enrollment in the proper curriculum.  Therefore, students will not be allowed to change to another college at the University during their first year at Notre Dame and will not be allowed to transfer into (or pursue a second degree from) the Mendoza College of Business at any time.  If you are unsure to which college you would like to apply, please carefully review the following websites.  A complete list of majors, second majors and concentrations are available.
