When can I apply to Notre Dame using the Coalition Application?
The Coalition Application was live as of August 1.
The Common Application was also live as of August 1.  

Notre Dame Application deadlines:
Restrictive Early Action: November 1
Regular Decision: January 1
Confirmation Deadline: May 1

Which application does Notre Dame prefer?
Notre Dame accepts both the Coalition Application and the Common Application. The University does not have a preference.

Will submitting the Coalition Application give me an advantage over students who submit the Common Application?
No. We strive to make the admissions process fair and equitable to all students. The University has no preference with regard to which application you use. Each applicant will be given a fair assessment. Visit admissions.nd.edu/apply for more detailed information on applying to Notre Dame.

Should I submit both the Common Application and the Coalition Application?
No, please do not submit both applications. One takes the place of the other. 

Please note: Notre Dame will not be reviewing items shared via the Locker. Applicants studying art, music, or architecture can submit supplementary materials via Slide Room.

Will the additional essay questions be required with the Coalition Application and the Common Application?
Yes, Notre Dame requires the same essay questions with both applications. Learn more about the essay questions here.

Is there an application fee?
The fee for submitting the Coalition Application is the same as the fee for submitting the Common Application. Our application fee is $75 and a Fee Waiver option is available. Information about Notre Dame’s application fee is available here.
