What is your best Notre Dame memory? The first time I went to the Grotto bymyself and there was no one else there

What is your favorite Dining Hall Meal? Edamame with Sunday omelets

What is your favorite thing about dorm life? The close community

What clubs/activities are you involved in? Student Government Executive Cabinet, Howard Hall Executive Cabinet, Brazil Club, Center for the Study of Languages and Cultures, Moneythink, Student International Business Council

What made you choose Notre Dame? The sense of community that is unique to Notre Dame. Here, I feel at home even though I am far away from home.

What is your favorite part about being an international student at Notre Dame? The chance to talk about my culture and connect with other international students. Everyone here is so eager to learn and open to differences.

How did you adjust to life on campus? Making friends that share my culture, but also meeting people with similar interests through clubs and organizations.

How do you celebrate your culture/heritage at ND? Gathering all the Brazilians on campus whenever we have a good-enough excuse.

What advice do you have for international students? Be open. For some people, youmight be the first person from your country that they meet. It is ok to teach them what makes your country unique.
