What made you choose Notre Dame? I love that Notre Dame is a big family. People care for, help, and love each other in this community.
What is your favorite part about being an international student at Notre Dame? I get to meet a lot of other international students from all over the world and I have learned a lot from them.
How did you adjust to life on campus? I went to a boarding high school so the residential life is not unfamiliar to me. That being said, college students enjoy much more flexibility and there is a greater need for time management. It did take me a long time to stop procrastinating!
How do you celebrate your culture/heritage at ND? Spring Festival is the most important festival for Chinese people. On that day, many Chinese students will get together, cook a wonderful dinner, and spend the night together like a family.
What advice do you have for international students? If you need some advice, try talk to other people: your professors, RA, upperclassmen, etc. They are all very willing to help and they may have some useful information for you. Don't be afraid to reach out to others!
