What is your favorite Dining Hall Meal? Waffles!

What is your favorite thing about dorm life? The brotherhood and the activities that make it feel like I never left home.

What clubs/activities are you involved in? I am part of SIBC (A business club with semester long projects) and I am my dorm's Social Media Commissioner. I am also an Admissions Tour Guide!

What made you choose Notre Dame? Aside from the promise of an exceptional education, the vibe and people really made Notre Dame feel like home.

What is your favorite part about being an international student at Notre Dame? The fact that I get to share and teach my culture to my new friends and how welcoming people are to new cultures.

How did you adjust to life on campus? I feel I fell right into place here at Notre Dame. What I found helped me the most was talking to a lot of people and welcoming any new activity or experience.

How do you celebrate your culture/heritage at ND? I speak my native language and try to attend international student events and activities. I also share my culture with the people I meet.

What advice do you have for international students? Keep working hard and it will pay off in the long run. Try as hard as you can to find harmony and purpose in everything you do, especially giving back. Don’t be afraid to leave your home. When you arrive, you will immediately feel the warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes Notre Dame truly spectacular and one of a kind. Finally, never forget where you came from and always be proud of the place you call home.
