Campus Ministry
Resources
The Office of ==Campus Ministry== oversees spiritual activities and spaces at Notre Dame, coordinating hall spiritual life activities, offering instruction for those wishing to become Catholic, and integrating the beliefs of students who are not Catholic. Students are vital contributors to Campus Ministry affairs, participating as choir members, retreat team leaders, sponsors for catechumens, and hall ministers. Even after graduation some students choose to participate in the Campus Ministry Intern Program, in which they live in community and work for the Office of Campus Ministry .
Support
Employing a staff of over 35, Campus Ministry supports all students on their faith journey. It aids students in their transition to college, provides a network for students struggling with grief, locates places of worship and coordinates transportation for students of all faiths. Whether students seek spiritual direction, a faith-sharing group, or a weekend retreat, Campus Ministry provides a strong foundation of resources.
Retreat
Although many quiet spaces exist on campus, some students wish to enter into reflection for a longer period of time than can be found amidst lab reports, club meetings, and parties. Campus ministry provides retreats of every size, shape, and format, from the ==Sophomore Road Trip== retreat to the life-altering ==Notre Dame Encounter==. Whether you’re adjusting to your first year, wishing to connect with other members of your class, deepening understanding of your heritage, or deciding what to do after graduation, Campus Ministry provides time for you to reflect by yourself and to connect with others facing similar questions.
