Saturday, March 25 - Tuesday, March 28, 2017
The Notre Dame Scholars Program is an opportunity for students being considered for merit scholarships to experience life at the University of Notre Dame. It’s an all-expenses-paid trip to campus. During the Program, you’ll meet Notre Dame professors and current students, attend classes, tour campus, and get to know other prospective students. As a finalist for a merit scholarship, you will also meet with interviewers as part of the selection process.
Merit Scholarship Interviews
Finalist interviews for merit scholarships will take place on Sunday morning. To ensure a quiet night's sleep, Notre Dame Scholars Program attendees will spend Saturday night at the Hilton Garden Inn on the campus of Saint Mary's College across the street from Notre Dame. Transportation to and from the hotel and Notre Dame's campus will be provided.
The Notre Dame Scholars Program is designed to introduce you to the unique academic, service, and spiritual opportunities at Notre Dame. After merit scholarship interviews are complete, you will see what life is like as a Notre Dame student. Explore our Program Itinerary to see what we have planned for you. You'll learn a lot and have fun too!
Notre Dame is a residential university with over 80 percent of its undergraduate student population living on campus. Our residence halls promote a strong campus community, and we want you to be a part of it. Attendees will stay with a current student in one of Notre Dame’s 30 single-sex residence halls on Sunday and Monday nights. Your host’s contact information will be shared with you prior to your arrival on campus, and you can view a suggested packing list and attire recommendations on our FAQs page.
Please note that consideration for a merit scholarship requires complete participation in the Notre Dame Scholars Program. Participants are expected to arrive on Saturday and depart campus on Tuesday morning.
We’re ready to make your travel arrangements and match you with a campus host, but before we do, we need some information from you.
