Student Hospitality Program

Who
The Student Hospitality Program pairs a current Notre Dame student host with a high school senior who wishes to attend classes, eat in the dining halls, and experience residence hall life. In the autumn, all high school seniors are welcome to schedule a day host to help them experience student life at the University. In the spring, the Student Hospitality Program is reserved for Admitted Students only.

When
Please view our Visit Calendar to learn the times of year when the Student Hospitality Program is offered. During those times of year, students host high school seniors Monday through Friday during the day. We guarantee to accommodate your request if it is made with two weeks’ advance notice. We cannot accommodate requests for Saturday or Sunday day hosts.

How
Please schedule your visit online or contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at (574) 631-7505. You will be asked to provide your full name, your birthdate, your mailing address, your home telephone number, the year you will graduate from high school as well as the date of your requested day host. You will be sent an e-mail giving you the name of your student host as well as his/her contact information no sooner than three days before your scheduled visit. It will then be your responsibility to contact your student host in order to arrange a time and place to meet.

With
If you’re visiting in the autumn, we suggest you coordinate your day host experience with an Information Session and Tour. You may also choose to spend an overnight visit with a student who is a friend or family member but is not part of our Student Hospitality Program. You are welcome to make your own arrangements but still highly recommend that you attend the Information Session and Campus Tour.
