What is your favorite campus tradition?

Each dorm celebrates weekly inner-hall mass together that allows connections within the dorm.

What is your favorite spot on campus?

2nd floor of Hesburgh Library. I literally spend most of my time there every day.

What is your best Notre Dame memory?

I love all of the practices and the rehearsals of Vietnamese Student Association 2019 Cultural Show - Notre Dame By Night

What is your favorite Dining Hall Meal?

I recently figured out that our Salad bar is actually really good.

What is your favorite thing about dorm life?

Candlelit Mass

What clubs/activities are you involved in?

Vietnamese Student Association, Archery Club, Taiwanese Student Association, Diversity Council, Asian Allure Show

What made you choose Notre Dame?

I first heard of Notre Dame through the Notre Dame Women’s Basketball team. As I was searching for schools, I then fell in love with Notre Dame’s school spirit and community. When I received my acceptance letter along with two other hand-written letters from the admission office and from another student, I know that Notre Dame is a place to be as it values me as a distinct individual.

What is your favorite part about being an international student at Notre Dame?

I was proud to present my traditional clothes in many cultural shows and to share with my friends about my home country.

How did you adjust to life on campus?

Thanks to my dorm friends, I adjusted to the community quickly and have always felt welcome since Welcoming Weekend.

How do you celebrate your culture/heritage at ND?

I took part in many cultural shows as well as tried to involve in many cultural clubs’ activities.

What advice do you have for international students?

Be proud of who you are and where you come from because those are the unique parts that no one can take it from you. Don’t hesitate to show it out because other students are always eager to hear your unique journey.
