College students are always hungry. No matter what time it is, if we see food in front of us we will eat it. But where do students eat when they are in between classes or looking for a quick snack to get them through their day? Here is a list of the top food places all around campus and what they have to offer for students!
LaFortune Student Center
LaFortune, or LaFun for short, offers the most variety for students. Choices vary from Subway, Burger King, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Starbucks, or the famous Huddle. The Huddle Mart is a mini-grocery store for students. Ice cream, cookie dough, chips, milk, juice, are just a few of the endless goodies.
Café De Grasta
If you have to make the trip over to Flanner or Grace, make sure to stop by Café De Grasta in Grace Hall for some of the best food on campus. There is a make-your-own salad bar, make-your-own sandwich or wraps, and other pre-made food like spicy chicken sandwiches, pretzel balls, French fries, and more. There is also a wall of drinks to choose from!
Waddick's is a 50s style café located in O’Shaughnessy Hall. Students love this café because of the Green Mountain Coffee and the fresh made soups, salads, sandwiches, yogurt, or other food items that are offered. Students can come here to study or socialize depending on what they need to do!
Au Bon Pain
Au Bon Pain, or ABP, is located on the first floor of the Hesburgh Library. It serves made-to-order sandwiches, soups, macaroni and cheese, breadsticks, and delicious fresh baked goods. This is a student favorite when it's time to buckle down for exams.
Don’t feel like eating in the dining hall or need a meal on the go? Reckers has you covered. Located behind South Dining Hall, Reckers is another student favorite because of their pizzas, shakes, coffee, onion rings, smoothies, and more! This is the place to be on Friday or Saturday night!
There are many more restaurants and cafes located around campus, but these are some of the top choices when you’re in need of a quick bite to eat!
