This is a weekend of firsts at Notre Dame. We’re welcoming first-year students with residence hall events, cookouts, academic sessions, Mass, and plenty of time for Q&A. If you’re a first-year student, rest assured, you’ll get a complete—and fun—introduction to life at Notre Dame.
“In my opinion, Welcome Weekend is the most important time of the year because it is the first chance we, as a Notre Dame community, get to welcome all of our newest members and their families to campus,” says Maddie Hetlage ’18. Hetlage is a resident of Pasquerilla East Hall and a member of our Orientation Steering Committee. You can meet the committee members via their web pages—and keep a look out for their familiar faces when you arrive on campus.
