Important Information & Checklist

REPLY TO OFFER

Confirm your place in this semester's entering class via your applicant status portal, and submit your non-refundable $500 confirmation deposit.

FINAL COLLEGE TRANSCRIPT

It is your responsibility to have an official final transcript from your previous institution sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions (Attention: Transfer Committee). Approved college credits can be transferred only from official transcripts.

AP SCORE REPORT

Notre Dame will award credit for some advanced placement exams. If you have any eligible scores and have not yet submitted a score report, please send a copy of your student report to ndforms@nd.edu.

MEDICAL HISTORY AND PHYSICAL REPORT FORM

All students are required to submit a medical history and physical report form to University Health Services. You can enter your vaccination records online. Entering your vaccinations requires a login with your NetID and password. You can find the Medical History and Physical Report form on the University Health Services website at uhs.nd.edu/forms.

FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ONLY: PROOF OF MEDICAL INSURANCE

The University of Notre Dame requires that every international student has medical insurance. Please send a letter documenting your coverage to University Health Services with your Medical History and Physical Report form. If you do not send proof of insurance, you will automatically be enrolled in the Notre Dame health insurance plan.

FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ONLY: PRE-ARRIVAL IMMIGRATION PAPERWORK (IF APPLICABLE)

If you have studied at a college or university in the United States, you must arrange for the release of your SEVIS record for that institution. Notre Dame is unable to issue you a new I-20 or DS-2019 until the record is released. Please see the Questionnaire and Transfer Eligibility Form for instructions to complete this process.

CREATE NETID AND PASSWORD

Two business days after we receive your confirmation, you will be able to access your NetID and create a secure password at accounts.nd.edu. You will need your NDID for this step.

Submit Your Final College Transcript 

Be sure to submit your final transcript of your academic record as soon as possible. Unofficial transcripts can be sent via email to ndforms@nd.edu. Please be aware that you will need to submit an official college transcript.

Housing Applications Available

Once a student has confirmed their enrollment at Notre Dame, they must complete a housing application if they would like to be included in the housing lottery, which will be conducted in the middle of July. All questions regarding housing should be directed to the Office of Residence Life and Housing

Deadline to Complete Honor Code 

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions will provide a tutorial and instructions for completing Notre Dames's Academic Code of Honor, a set of standards and responsibilities for personal academic conduct expected of each student.

Course Selection

Each college has its own process and timeline for course selection. In the meantime, we strongly encourage you to review Class Search to understand which courses will be available. 

August 8, 2018

First Tuition Payment Due

Billing statements will be sent July 13 via IRISHPAY. Deadline for payment of first billing statement will be August 8. For more information on paying tuition, housing, meals, and other student charges, visit Student Accounts.
