Dani Obringer
Dani is a junior from San Jose, California, majoring in business analytics and film, television, and theatre.
On campus, she lives in Cavanaugh Hall. Of Cavanaugh she says, “Cav’s mascot is the Chaos and life in Cav is beautifully chaotic. "From the moment I moved in, the Chaos excitedly welcomed me to the family and a dorm quickly became a home. From random conversations at our study desks to late nights snacking at Chat & Chew to finding any excuse to put glitter on, the women in Cav care about each other and care deeply. Not to mention Cav has a beautiful dorm view and is a thirty second walk to LaFun."
She serves as a Tour Guide, works for the Football Recruiting Office, is the Vice President of the Sports Management Association and Co-Chair of Administration for Cav’s Hall Council. She has also previously been involved with Student Union Board, the Center for Social Concerns, interhall sports, and worked as a Research Assistant for Mendoza College of Business.
Dani’s favorite Notre Dame tradition is Midnight Drummers Circle where the Notre Dame Drumline performs in front of the Golden Dome at midnight the day of home football games. It’s like New Year’s celebrations but for football!
Among other things, you can ask Dani about coming from a warmer climate, getting involved with athletics, dorm life, balancing a double major across two different colleges, undergraduate research, and finding your place at Notre Dame!
