Lauren Stark

Lauren Stark
Class of 2023

Lauren is a senior from Colleyville, Texas, majoring in electrical engineering. On campus, she lives in McGlinn Hall.

Of McGlinn she says, “McGlinn has the closest and kindest community. McG never quits and for that reason we stick together and have a blast no matter what is going on.”

She is involved with the Office of Admissions as a Recruitment & Visitation Intern. She is also involved with Society of Women Engineer, IEEE,and finally Native American Student Association of Notre Dame as the president. In NASAND, she strives to increase the voices and goals of native students and bring our community engagement to the greater Notre Dame campus community. Not only that, she is involved with Wireless Institute REU in GaN transistors research on campus.

Lauren’s favorite Notre Dame tradition is not stepping on the grass on god quad! That is, if you want to pass your theology classes, as superstition might have it.

Among other things, you can ask Lauren about what it’s like in engineering as a woman, how to transition to Notre Dame from very far away, and how the dining hall is on campus!
