NOTRE DAME, IN – The University of Notre Dame has announced Regular Decision admissions decisions for the Class of 2030. After receiving 36,102 Restrictive Early Action (REA) and Regular Decision (RD) applications, the University admitted 9% of applicants. Those admitted demonstrated exceptional academic preparation along with leadership, enthusiasm for Notre Dame’s Catholic mission, and commitment to serving others. A limited number of students have been invited to join the waiting list.
This year’s applicant pool reflects the global reach and inclusive spirit of the University of Notre Dame, representing students from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, five U.S. territories, and 183 countries. Guided by its Catholic mission, Notre Dame is committed to ensuring that financial need does not limit opportunity.

The University is committed to ensuring that a Notre Dame education is affordable and accessible to all admitted students. Admitted students who met the priority deadline for completing financial aid applications received financial aid offers alongside their admission decisions.
The admission of Regular Decision applicants coincides with the announcement of new components to the University’s signature undergraduate financial aid program, Pathways to Notre Dame. Beginning in the 2026-27 academic year, families earning up to $150,000 will pay zero tuition, and families with annual income up to $200,000 will receive aid that covers at least half of tuition. Most families earning up to $60,000 will receive full coverage for tuition, fees, housing, and food. This announcement reflects the University’s long-standing commitment to undergraduate financial aid and provides the clarity that families need during the admissions process.

In the coming weeks, admitted students will be invited to engage with Notre Dame through a range of in-person and virtual events highlighting the University’s academic, residential, and spiritual life. The University will also host admitted students and their families on campus for The Rally (Admitted Student Days) on April 19–20, 2026. Admitted students have until May 1 to confirm their enrollment.
