Led by an admissions counselor, information sessions give you an overview of Notre Dame’s application process, admission criteria, financial aid, academics, and student life. Bring your parents and your questions. Sessions are most helpful when you attend them before completing an application.
With more than 15,000 prospective students and their parents visiting campus each year, you’ll need to schedule your visit in advance. Please schedule an appointment for an information session online or by calling (574) 631-7505 Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. ET.
We’ll meet you under the Golden Dome.
Arrive on campus at least 30 minutes before your appointment to give yourself ample time to check in. Visitor parking is located on the southern edge of campus in the C1 parking lot. Please visit the campus map and click on the dropdown bar labeled "Locations" in the upper left hand corner to locate the "C1 Lot" on the map. The C1 lot is located south of the Notre Dame Stadium and Joyce Center
All information sessions and tours meet in Room 220 of the Main Building, underneath the Golden Dome.
A walk that could change the course of your life.
Guided by current Notre Dame students, tours visit the main attractions on campus and give you a current student’s perspective of life here. There's no need to schedule a tour. Tours are available Monday through Friday at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. unless otherwise noted on the visit calendar.
Due to a large number of visitors and time constraints, tours do not visit residence hall rooms at any time. No tours are held on the Saturdays of home football games.
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions offers information sessions and tours twice daily for most of the year. Check the Visit Calendar to see what will be offered at the time of your visit.
Seniors in high school may request to have a day host during their visit. High school seniors are paired with current Notre Dame students in order to sit in on classes, eat in the dining hall, visit a residence hall, and explore campus. Please check the Visit Calendar for specific dates in late September through November when day hosts are available. Registration must be two weeks prior to date requested.
Game Day Visits: Parking on Saturdays during home football games is extremely limited. Whether or not you plan on attending the game, please be aware that lots on or near campus fill up quickly and may charge a fee of up to $50. Allow plenty of time to walk from parking lots to the information session at the Main Building. If you are attending the game, please park where you plan to park for the game. Visit Game Day for more information about parking on home football Saturdays.
