Led by an admissions counselor, information sessions give you an overview of Notre Dame’s application process, admission criteria, financial aid, academics, and student life. Bring your parents and your questions. Sessions are most helpful when you attend them before completing an application.
With more than 15,000 prospective students and their parents visiting campus each year, you’ll need to schedule your visit in advance. Please schedule an appointment for an information session online or by calling (574) 631-7505 Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. ET.
We’ll meet you under the Golden Dome.
Arrive on campus at least 30 minutes before your appointment to give yourself ample time to check in. Information regarding visitor parking and parking rates can be found here. Visitor parking is located on the west end of the Walsh Architecture Parking Lot. Please visit map.nd.edu and select the Visitor Parking overlay to view these areas on the map.
All information sessions and tours meet in Room 220 of the Main Building, underneath the Golden Dome. Information sessions are one-hour long and the tours that follow last one-and-a-half hours.
A walk that could change the course of your life.
Guided by current Notre Dame students, tours visit the main attractions on campus and give you a current student’s perspective of life here. There's no need to schedule a tour. Tours are available Monday through Friday at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. unless otherwise noted on the visit calendar.
Due to a large number of visitors and time constraints, tours do not visit residence hall rooms at any time. No tours are held on the Saturdays of home football games.
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions offers information sessions and tours twice daily for most of the year. Check the Visit Calendar to see what will be offered at the time of your visit.
Seniors in high school may request to have a day host during their visit. High school seniors are paired with current Notre Dame students in order to sit in on classes, eat in the dining hall, visit a residence hall, and explore campus.
Available dates are: September 18-22 and 25-29; October 2-6, 25-27, and 30-31; and November 1-3, 6-10, and 13-17. Access the Visit Calendar to register. Registration must be submitted two weeks prior to the requested date.
Game Day Visits: Parking on Saturdays during home football games is extremely limited. Whether or not you plan on attending the game, please be aware that lots on or near campus fill up quickly and may charge a fee of up to $50. Allow plenty of time to walk from parking lots to the information session at the Main Building. If you are attending the game, please park where you plan to park for the game. Visit Game Day for more information about parking on home football Saturdays.
