Hello everyone! My name is Savannah Carr, and I am super excited to be a part of the ND Admissions team! I’m majoring in Computer Science, and I’m originally from Miami, FL but my campus home is in Flaherty Hall (Roll Bears!!).
At Notre Dame, I play the clarinet in the marching band, and I’m a commissioner in my dorm. I am also a member of these clubs: Shades of Ebony, Society of Women Engineers, Magnificat Choir (spring), National Society of Black Engineers, PEMCo, and the Themed Entertainment Association.
So far, my favorite class I have taken is Engineering Programming, where we learned MatLab and Python and created cool apps! A hobby that I love is taking part in the performing arts; I’ve been dancing, singing, and performing since I was very young, so definitely look out for future blogs about these topics!
