Claire is a junior double-majoring in Strategic Management and Global Affairs. Originally from Coloma, Michigan, Claire now calls Flaherty Hall her home away from home. According to Claire, Fronana is the BEST Flaherty Hall tradition, which is Flaherty’s food service that serves frozen banana desserts on Thursday evenings.

When asked why she chose Notre Dame, Claire says, “Notre Dame made me feel valued for the exact background that shaped me. Growing up on a farm in a small Michigan town was an experience I rarely found relatable elsewhere, yet I fit seamlessly into the ND community. Though my peers came from very different walks of life, the shared sense of purpose and community made me feel right at home. This environment has helped me flourish, and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.”

In addition to working as a Rural Admissions Intern, Claire is also involved with Aging with Grace, and she is a TRIO Upward Bound Tutor, Inspired Leadership Initiative student intern, Keough Research Fellow, Moreau Peer Leader, Global Affairs TA, and a tutor for the Robinson Community Learning Center. Claire has also studied abroad in London for a semester, and, in addition to her work as a Keough Research Fellow and ILI Internship, Claire has also participated in the Bainbridge Beverage Research and Design Internship.
