Jerry is a junior preprofessional studies and industrial design double major from Granger, Indiana. Jerry lives in Dunne Hall, and his favorite hall tradition is the Dunne-Dance Film Festival, where every dorm member makes their own film and there is a formal movie watch — complete with a red carpet, photographer, and awards!
Jerry chose Notre Dame because of the opportunities available to students. He says he “doesn’t think there is a place anywhere else in the world where you can say yes to everything and still feel like you aren’t taking full advantage of everything there is right in front of you. Notre Dame has so much to offer beyond academics that your four years here feel so much shorter than they actually are.” On campus, Jerry is an active basketball player, both as a member of the Women’s Basketball Scout Team and the Club Basketball Team. He is also the Merchandise Commissioner for his dorm, Dunne Hall, and he volunteers with Mercy Works. Jerry has also participated in Race2Revenue through the IDEA Center.
