Margo is a senior Political Science and Spanish major from Greenville, South Carolina, with a minor in Computing and Digital Technologies. On campus, she lives in Pasquerilla East Hall, and her favorite hall tradition is assigning students a Big and/or Little to encourage friendships and mentorship across class years.
One reason she loves Notre Dame, she says, is the sense of belonging. "I chose Notre Dame because although I was born into an ND family, it was very important to me to make my experience at ND uniquely mine and discern whether it was the place for me on my own," she says. "When I set foot on campus as a high school student, I felt an instant sense of belonging, purpose, and peace. Even in my last year here, I still get that same feeling every time I step on campus, whether it be after a few days at home for break or an entire semester away."
Margo is the Co-President of the O'Brien Notre Dame International Security Center (NDISC) Undergraduate Fellows Program, Senior Vice President of Women in International Security (WIIS), Co-President of the campus chapter of the Alexander Hamilton Society, a Content Editor for the Beyond Politics Journal, and competes with the Powerlifting Club. She also serves as a sworn law enforcement officer and interns in the St. Joseph County Cyber Crimes Unit as a Digital Forensics Investigator. Margo completed two internships in Washington, D.C., including one with a Congressional Committee on Capitol Hill during her Spring 2025 Washington Program semester.
