Bridget is a rising junior from Glen Head, New York majoring in computer science in the College of Engineering.
On campus, she lives in McGlinn Hall. When asked about McGlinn Hall she says, “The community of women in McGlinn Hall is truly unmatched. I have never felt so immediately welcomed by a group and that comfort continues every day in McGlinn. Being a part of the McGlinn community has pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me form relationships that will surely last a lifetime. From interhall flag football games to our signature event Casino Night, the McGlinn community always works to fulfill our motto ‘act justly, love tenderly, and walk humbly.’”
On campus, she is a member of the Society of Women Engineers and the Women in Computer Science Club, both committed to supporting and providing community for female engineering students.
Bridget’s favorite place on campus is the Fitzpatrick Hall of Engineering, where she spends most of her time studying on the second floor or working with fellow Computer Science students in the Computer Science Lounge.
When she’s not studying she loves to walk around the lakes or workout in Duncan Student Center with friends.
After Notre Dame, Bridget hopes to pursue a career in theme park engineering, creating roller coasters and various attractions for theme parks.
She would be delighted for you to ask her about her time in the computer science department, her summer study abroad experience in Rome, or anything else about her Notre Dame experience.
