Margo Schellinger

Margo is a junior political science and Spanish major at Notre Dame, with a minor in computing and digital technologies. She lives in Pasquerilla East Hall on campus, and her favorite hall tradition is that students are assigned a Big and a Little in the dorm, encouraging friendships and mentorship.

One of the reasons she loves Notre Dame, she says, is, the feeling of belonging. "I chose Notre Dame because although I was born into an ND family, it was very important to me to make my experience at ND uniquely mine and discern whether it was the place for me on my own," she says, "When I stepped foot onto campus as a high school student, I felt an instant sense of belonging, purpose, and peace. As a junior, I still get that same feeling every time I step on campus whether it be after a few days at home for break or an entire semester away."

On campus, Margo is involved with the Notre Dame International Security Center (NDISC), Women in International Security (WIIS), and the Powerlifting Club. She is a reviewer for the Beyond Politics Journal of Political Science and is also a St. Joseph's County Cyber Crimes Unit Student Investigator.
