Rita Barhouche

Rita is a junior aerospace engineering major from Sahel Alma, Lebanon. On campus, she lives in Pasquerilla East Hall, affectionately known as PE, where she is a Dorm Commissioner. Her favorite hall tradition is the Red Hot Wings event. 

She says she chose Notre Dame because, "ND believed in me and saw my potential to thrive and become a force for good."

Rita is actively involved in many campus clubs and activities, including the ND Rocketry Team, DOME Yearbook, Ultimate Frisbee Club working as an admissions tour guide. She is also a member of the Notre Dame chapter of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Rita has thus far completed three semesters of research while at Notre Dame, and she held a research fellowship on campus.
