Skylar Jones
Skylar is a junior gender studies major from New Orleans, LA. She lives in Breen Phillips Hall on campus, where her favorite hall event is the annual semi-formal dance.
She says she chose Notre Dame because it is, "[a] place with incredible opportunity."
Skylar is a McInerney Fellow with the Office of Student Enrichment, and she is involved with the student group Shades of Ebony, as well as the Black Student Association.
She has pursued an abundance of research and global experiences, including research with the Culture of MEdicine Lab, the Kellogg Pre-Experiencing the World Fellowship, and summer study abroad in Brazil. Skylar also attended a Society of Latin American Anthropology Conference in Panama City, Panama.
