  • Major(s): Sociology; Education, Schooling, and Society
  • Hometown: Los Angeles, CA

Stacy is a sophomore double-major in sociology and education, schooling, and society. On campus, she lives in Pasquerilla West Hall, also known as "Pdub," and her favorite hall tradition is Queen Week, during which each hall section competes for a crown in various fun events.

"I chose ND because I wanted a community that supports and uplifts me in various important, personal aspects (i.e. internship opportunities, school spirit, service, Catholic faith) and believes in the person I want to be," says Stacy.

Stacy is a QuestBridge Scholar and her additional campus activities include: the dance group Ballet Folklórico Azul y Oro (BFAYO), the Latino Student Alliance, and the Building Bridges mentoring program.

She also pursues sociology research alongside sociology graduate students, and she completed a summer internship in Washington, D.C. with the Institute for Lation Studies.
