Global Scholars Fall: High School Sophomores and Juniors Can Earn College Credit Online

Notre Dame's Office of Pre-College Programs will offer Global Scholars in fall 2023 to current high school sophomores and juniors looking for opportunities to internationalize their education and take a college-level course.

Notre Dame International faculty teach from the University’s London Global Gateway and Jerusalem Global Gateway, allowing students the opportunity to learn topics not typically offered in a high school curriculum with a like-minded global cohort. Participants choose a Global Scholars course and earn one transferable college credit upon completion.

As a Global Scholar, you'll be challenged to see the world from different perspectives and discover new passions along the way. Class sizes are kept small to allow students to develop meaningful connections with one another and benefit from individualized instruction by Notre Dame faculty.

Catherine DuBay participated in A City of Spell Books and Broomsticks: London in the Literature of the Fantastic in Spring 2022 and says, “I enjoyed the course work both in and out of class. I felt that this class was manageable as I completed both it and my own studies, sports, and extracurriculars. I also loved the relationship I was able to establish with my professor. Between emails, feedback on lecture responses and journal entries, and conversations in class, I believe we learned a lot about each other, even in an online format.”
