Admissions Headshot Edited

Hi everyone, my name is Liam Franz! I am a sophomore Content Specialist Intern from Hamilton, Indiana (a small town an hour and a half east of campus). I am majoring in Marketing with a minor in Real Estate. I currently live in Siegfried Hall on campus, and I am very proud to be a Siegfried Rambler. On campus I am involved in the Notre Dame Scholars Program, Student International Business Council, Wall Street Club, Cryptocurrency Club, while also being a manager for the Men’s Basketball team.

Attending this outstanding University comes with some pretty awesome benefits! Some of my favorite things to do at Notre Dame is to spend time in the Duncan Student Center with friends, participate in Siegfried events, play basketball in the Rock, and you can’t forget about home football games. Additionally, I love the activities I am a part of on campus, especially being a manager for the Men’s Basketball team. There’s never a dull moment here at Notre Dame as the campus is always busy with endless activities.

My best advice to any prospective student who is interested in attending Notre Dame comes in three different ways. First, don’t let anyone tell you what you can or can’t do. There will be people who will not always see your vision, and that’s perfectly okay. I was told countless times that I couldn’t do it, but I always believed in myself. You have to believe in yourself, because you are capable of great things. Secondly, make sure to use the essays in your application as a tool to showcase your true personality. Give the Notre Dame Admissions team an understanding of who you truly are, and what talents you will bring to campus. Lastly, be excited about the college admissions process. You only get to go through it once, so ask questions, reach out to the admissions counselors, and embrace the journey.

I am so excited to be a part of the Notre Dame Admissions team to represent this outstanding university. I can’t wait to showcase the unique opportunities and the remarkable community that Notre Dame offers. Go Irish!
