Hi lovely friends! My name is Luisa Romero, but everyone knows me as Lulu! I am a New Media Intern for the ND Admissions this year and I am so excited to join the team.
Here is a little about me and what I do here at Notre Dame - I am a Sophomore (Class of 2024!) and I am double majoring in Psychology and American Studies with a minor in Latino Studies. I am originally from Southern California, but I live in Lyons Hall. On campus, I am involved in Class Council where I serve as the Sophomore Class Vice President and perform/choreograph with DanceCo and their branch of TapCo. I also work at ND Listens, the alumni calling center, and of course, ND Admissions. I also help at Basilica Mass as a lector and Eucharistic Minister. In the minimal free time that I have, I love spending late nights with my friends, having dance parties in my room, and going on walks around campus.
I never expected to end up at a school like Notre Dame, especially as a first generation college student, so I am so humbled to get to experience ND and all it has to offer. Even with a different first year experience due to COVID, I have loved everything about my experience thus far. I can’t wait to share my own ND journey with all of you! GO IRISH!
