Summer 2015 may have flown by but that did not stop Notre Dame students from making every minute of their summer count! Here is how a few seniors spent their last summers as undergraduate students:


Chad Binghay '16

Major: Biology/Pre-Med

"I worked in a research lab this summer studying the colons of mice."







Kelly Marous '16

Major: Political Science and French

Minor: Business-Economics and Peace Studies 

Hometown: Pittsburgh, PA

"This summer I was fortunate enough to explore career options in two fields that I am interested in. I briefly worked in the entertainment industry through my internship with DDA PR at the Cannes Film Festival and I explored government affairs as a Social Policy intern at Catholic Charities USA."




Taylor Fiorini '16

"I worked at a marine mammal rehabilitation center in LA. We helped injured and sick pinnipeds with the goal of releasing them back to the ocean."





Owen Zidar '16

Major: Computer Engineering 

Hometown: Cary, NC

"I worked for the Nickelodeon Animation Studio in Burbank, California developing software tools for various productions. I also led and organized the community outreach project, which was designing and painting a mural for a local elementary school."

"This summer I returned back to Camp Sweeney, a camp for kids with Type 1 Diabetes, and served as the Assistant Head Counselor of the youngest girls cabin."
