The University of Notre Dame has completed its review of Regular Decision (RD) applications for the undergraduate Class of 2027. The University admitted 1,698 students and a limited number were offered a place on the waiting list. Decisions were released on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 18:42 (6:42 p.m. ET), a nod to Notre Dame’s founding year of 1842.

Similar to this year’s Restrictive Early Action (REA) applicant pool, the RD pool represented one of the most diverse in Notre Dame history in terms of race, ethnicity, and those who are first generation in their family to attend a four-year college or university. The RD applicant pool represented 7,862 high schools from 50 states, the District of Columbia, five U.S. territories, and 143 different countries. Like REA applicants, they also represented the top of their classes, excelling in academic rigor and accomplishments, educational research, and service to others.

All admitted students in the REA and RD processes have until May 1 to confirm their enrollment at the University. Notre Dame continues to have one of the top yield rates in the nation, with 60 percent of those students offered admission last year enrolling at the University.

Detailed information about the enrolled Class of 2027 will be released in late May 2023.
