How to Apply
You can apply online via the Common Application or the Coalition Application. These applications include the Notre Dame Writing Supplement consisting of several short answer prompts.
Each year, we ask applicants to tell us why Notre Dame is special to them and this year is no different. In addition to two other short answer prompts, we're asking you to respond to the following question: What excites you about the University of Notre Dame that makes it stand out from other institutions?

Submission Dates
You can apply to Notre Dame in one of two ways: Restrictive Early Action or Regular Decision.
Restrictive Early Action applications are due November 1, 2018, and Regular Decision applications are due January 1, 2018. Learn about the differences between the two here.

You may want to review our evaluation criteria before applying, but we're also looking at those unquantifiable traits that make you you. So remember to be yourself. Our application and short answer prompts are designed to help us get to know the real you—your passions and interests and the experiences that have shaped you.
