What is your favorite campus tradition?

My favorite campus tradition is the screening of Rudy at the football stadium. Getting to watch the film where it took place was surreal.

What is your favorite spot on campus?

My favorite spot on campus would have to be South Quad. This year, because of all the restrictions due to COVID-19, Notre Dame has done an amazing job creating fun outdoor social spaces. South Quad is full of twinkle lights and people having fun!

What is your best Notre Dame memory?

So far, my best memory at Notre Dame was going my first football game. I had never been to any football game before, so having my first one be at Notre Dame surrounded by so many people that love the university was amazing!

What is your favorite Dining Hall Meal?

Chicken Boom-Boom salad. It makes my Tuesdays.

What is your favorite thing about dorm life?

My favorite thing about dorm life is the community that exists within the dorm. It feels like a family.

What clubs/activities are you involved in?

I’m on the Notre Dame Figure Skating Team and absolutely love it!

What made you choose Notre Dame?

The people and the community. I know that’s what everyone says but it’s true. The people here are amazingly kind and the community is very strong. I’ve only been here for a month, but Notre Dame already feels like home.

What is your favorite part about being an international student at Notre Dame?

My favorite part about being an international student at Notre Dame is being able to experience a culture different than mine.

How did you adjust to life on campus?

The adjustment to life on campus was really easy for me because of all the amazing people I met and how welcomed I felt by the university.

How do you celebrate your culture/heritage at ND?

I tell my friends about Greece all the time and soon plan on making them some of my favorite Greek food.

What advice do you have for international students?

Embrace the fact that you are different. Every person I have met has been so welcoming and interested in hearing about where I come from. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and continuously try to make new friends. You’re going to love it here!
