Keough School of Global Affairs Transfer Requirements

Students in the Keough School of Global Affairs will immerse in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary scholarship that is relevant to real-world issues and challenges. Students who have completed first-year coursework that closely mirrors Notre Dame's first-year coursework will be more competitive in the transfer admissions process.

In addition to making progress in the University's Core Curriculum, all transfer applicants intending to enroll in the Keough School should complete the following coursework:

  • Quantitative Methods: statistics, calculus, or finite mathematics. College algebra andĀ precalculus cannot be transferred in for credit.
  • Principles of Economics
  • Writing and Rhetoric or Composition
  • Language: It is highly recommended that students who have not already achieved intermediate proficiency II in a contemporary language (other than their native tongue), work toward this Keough School requirement.
